I am a contemporary textile artist from New Zealand who now calls Perth, Western Australia home. I have sewed all my life and in 2014 I started making art quilts inspired by our travels. In 2019 I was introduced to thread painting or freehand machine embroidery and I have found my happy place. I am a member of the Society for Embroidered Work which promotes and supports the best in stitched art worldwide. In 2020 I won best in show for freehand machine embroidery at the Perth Royal Show. My work ranges from small pieces suitable for embroidery hoops which are on a painted silk background to large pieces on a fabric collage. I look forward to working with you to create the perfect piece of art.
