How would your best friend (or someone close to you) describe you using only 3 adjectives?

Joy, spunky, uplifting.

What does a typical day in your life look like?

Nothing is exactly the same, but if I get in some yoga, a hike, painting and my kids, it's a gift.

Who inspires you?

I love K. Wiley who inspired my interest in portraits.

What is your favorite quote?

“In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.” – John Muir

What is something you wish you could change about the world?

My hope is that my work inspires others to look for joy.

As an artist, what made you get into art?

Getting messy actually gets me excited.

What is your favorite thing about art commissions?

I love that I get to know the heartfelt stories of what brings people peace and joy and just getting to be a part of that story.

What is your favorite piece of artwork? (from someone living)

It's not one piece, but Nicolas Uribe's "Our Painted Lives" encourages me to be a better painter. His authenticity and freedom to explore and experiment is inspiring.

What is your favorite piece of artwork? (from someone dead)

Monet's waterlilies have always brought me awe.

What do you want people to know about you?

I love to paint and bring joy into people's homes. I paint landscapes and portraits and love doing both.
