8 art conferences you should attend in 2022

January 7, 2022

Creativity and inspiration are the true backbone in the creation of art - both of which can be grown, shaped, and expanded upon throughout your lifetime and career as an artist. To promote artistic growth, you should strive for a lifelong practice of learning, experiencing, and practicing.

Attending an art conference is an experience that can add substantial value for an artist. Art conferences provide a tremendous opportunity for self-growth, knowledge, networking, and overall empowerment for artists.

What goes on inside art conferences? For the most part, art conferences typically consist of workshops, demonstrations, and lessons from professional artists and educators. Plus, lots of time to meet fellow artists & future friends.

Understandably, the idea of going to an art conference can be intimidating for many artists. The monetary and time cost dissuades many people from taking the initiative to register and attend. However, participating in these events are highly rewarding and worth your time since it expands your network and grows you as an artist.  With a little bit of preparation and planning, you could find yourself having the experience of a lifetime, while simultaneously honing your skills, in something you are truly passionate about.
