I hold a BS in Art Education and have studied portrait painting at the School of Visual Arts. My portfolio includes portraits of cats, dogs, horses, a hamster, men, women and children. When I am asked, "Why have a portrait painted?" My response is that "Today the immediacy and proliferation of photography makes most photos just not that special. A fine art portrait while certainly capturing likeness as does a photo, has the ability to endure and communicate deeper emotion that is translated through the brush work and color palette. A painted portrait is also seen as a luxury and communicates importance. Hello! I‘m a digital artist with over 2 years of experience specializing in pet portraits. I would love to create a custom piece just for you for it to be cherished for years to come! I feel incredibly inspired by bringing pets to life on a canvas. Every animal is different and I love showing off their personality by working out all the little details that make your pet unique! I‘m a great animal lover and have a lot of experience with both cats and dogs as well as horses… I just love them all! I create all my portraits digitally with Procreate. Since the portrait will be created digitally I can either send it to you as a digital file via email or print it out and physically ship it to you for a small extra charge.

I am a fashion designer/ fashion illustrator with over 21 years of experience as a fine artist and over 14 years of experience as a fashion designer and fashion illustrator. In addition to fashion design /fashion illustration, I also have some (a little over five years) graphic design experience (flyers, invitations, and apparel). My specializations include women's activewear, swimwear, sleepwear, and casual RTW (Ready-To-Wear). My works have been featured in fashion shows throughout the Southeast region of the US, and New York City, SCAD Portfolios, Triple Magazine, Devoe Magazine, and Voyage Dallas Magazine. In addition to working as a fashion designer/fashion illustrator, I’ve been teaching fashion design courses for over seven years. I’ve been an instructor at Art Institute of Dallas (Ai Dallas) for over seven years and at Texas Woman’s University (TWU) for over two years. I love working as a creative in the fashion industry, and I love teaching different skills to fashion students.
Armando Nieto is a Venezuelan born emerging artist based in Savannah, Georgia. He is a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design. His work focuses on concept art for environment, landscape, portraiture, and animated illustrations. Armando has vast experience using traditional techniques such as graphite, markers, watercolor, acrylics, and oil paints. He is also very experienced with digital tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate. Part of Armando’s work has been inspired by revolutionary artist Carlos Cruz-Diez (whose work was focused on kinetic and optical art). He also finds his inspiration from natural sceneries and landscapes (that are found in his home country Venezuela and the US). Armando is capable of critical thinking, and he is able to expand his knowledge about art concepts and to understand what can work for specific themes and situations in an undergoing art project.

Over the years, while working in the art field, I slowly focused on improving my skills in drawing and painting because it was something I enjoyed when I was little before entering the adult world of art and all the different challenges it entailed. My personal art style encompasses a few things I appreciate: people, anime and light. Making portraits is always about capturing the person, but from an artist it's also about adding in what they see in the portrait. So I like to add in just a little of what the person might look like with slightly anime-ish eyes (because the eyes are always what we're naturally drawn to), and then adding in extra sparkling light or more dynamic lighting, to give the painting a more fantasy-like feel...
