Katelyn, private commission, Acrylic and coloured pencil on panel, 50x70cm

Subject: Portraits
Medium: Acrylic, Colored pencil
Dimensions: 70 x 100 cm

Commissioned as a wedding anniversary gift, this portrait of Katelyn began with a conversation with her husband about the qualities that make her unique, her kindness, warmth, and love of flowers and nature. Commissioned by her husband as a wedding anniversary gift, this portrait of Katelyn was shaped by conversations about her warmth, kindness, and love of flowers and nature. These personal insights guided my interpretation of her character, with particular attention to the softness of her expression. Through carefully rendered facial details and a restrained painterly approach, the work seeks to capture both her individuality and the affection with which she is seen by someone close to her.
