Deepest Emotion is an original black-and-white portrait painted entirely by hand in oil on paper using the dry brush technique.
The work focuses on the emotional bond between a person and an animal rather than simply portraying their physical likeness. The close embrace, restrained composition, and subtle facial expressions create an intimate and deeply personal moment.
Deepest Emotion received 1st Place in the American Art Awards 2020 in Human Expressionism and 1st Place in Expressionism – Other, judged by 25 galleries and museums in the United States. It also received an Honorable Mention in Grey Cube Gallery’s “Portrait” exhibition in 2021.
I accept commissions for human portraits, pet portraits, and portraits portraying people together with their animals, created from high-quality reference photographs.
