How to send an inquiry

An inquiry is the first step toward commissioning a custom piece from a MadeMay artisan.

What to include in your inquiry

When you send an inquiry, you will be asked to provide: - Category of work you are interested in - Description of what you have in mind - Reference photos (optional) to help the artisan understand your vision - Budget range so the artisan knows what you are working with - Timeline for when you would like the piece completed

How to send an inquiry

Navigate to the artisan's profile and tap the inquiry button. Fill out the form with as much detail as possible. The more specific you are, the better the artisan can understand your vision and respond with useful information.

What happens next

The artisan will receive your inquiry and can respond through on-platform messaging. From there, you can discuss details, share additional images, and work out the specifics together. Artists on MadeMay handle payments directly with their clients using their preferred method. MadeMay does not process or facilitate payments.
